Royal Mail has announced that there will be some enhancements to specifications to the following products (for machinable letters):

From 1^st January 2010, you will be able to submit items that:

1. Have a tolerance of up to 25mm where envelope flaps do not have to be sealed/gummed on the right & left edges
2. Are one-piece mailers (folded from a single sheet of paper) for OCR products
3. Have a window on the reverse of the item
4. Have perforated/tear off strips
