Royal Mail
Royal Mail (direct) has confirm the following dates:
- Saturday 17 December (Sorted) Economy
- Tuesday 20 December 2nd Class Royal Mail (Sorted or Unsorted)
- Wednesday 21 December 1st Class (Sorted or Unsorted)
Royal Mail Deferred
- Wednesday 21 December For delivery on/from or after Tuesday 3 January
Wholesale / DSA
Royal Mail Wholesale has confirmed they will continue to treat all mail as first class upon receipt through the Christmas period.
However the last ‘guaranteed’ posting date (to hit prior to Christmas Day) is Monday 19th December, so in line with that, most DSA’s (Citipost, Onepost, UKMail etc) recommend handing all mail which needs pre-Christmas delivery over to them no later than Thursday 15th December for Unsorted Mail and Friday 16th December for Sorted Mail respectively.
